In the brutal clashes that tore across the region, Legion and Task Force Black forged a fragile but effective truce early on, allowing both to concentrate their efforts on more pressing objectives rather than expend energy fighting each other. Legion, taking full advantage of this temporary alliance, swiftly seized control of key territories, outmaneuvering their rivals with calculated precision.

Task Force Black held their own and delivered sharp, tactical blows but ultimately couldn't shift the tide against Legion's growing dominance. 

Meanwhile, the Bear Tribe, despite flashes of fierce resistance and bold actions, found themselves increasingly outmatched. As the conflict drew to a close, Legion emerged as the clear victor, solidifying their grip on the area while the others withdrew, forced to reevaluate their positions.

As the final dust settled on the battlefield, it became clear that Legion emerged as the dominant force despite fierce resistance from their rivals. Their unmatched execution of both main and secondary missions, combined with a solid intel score, resulted in a total adjusted score of 5630—securing their position as the most effective faction in this engagement. 

The Bear Tribe, while resourceful in their operations, fell short with an adjusted score of 3127, struggling to capitalize on their earlier successes despite strong secondary mission performance. 

Task Force Black, operating with precision and consistency, managed to hold their ground with an adjusted score of 4788, but ultimately could not surpass Legion's relentless advance. 

The conflict leaves Legion in control, while the Bear Tribe and Task Force Black must regroup and reconsider their strategies for future confrontations.

Where capture was not possible, they effectively sabotaged enemy supply lines, disrupting their opponents' operations. Resource exfiltration was carried out with measured success, ensuring critical supplies reached their command. Raiding Bear Tribe convoys, Legion seized some additional resources while employing hit-and-run tactics to neutralize any hostile forces they encountered, completing their mission parameters and reinforcing their foothold in the area.

A fragile truce
In a covert rendezvous, Legion and Task Force Black met at a secret location by the river. With the help of the elusive figure known only as "The Diplomat". This shadowy broker facilitated tense negotiations, leading to a delicate ceasefire. 

Neither faction agreed to collaborate, but they forged a simple truce to respect each other’s spoils and territorial claims. Though fragile, the pact allowed both sides to focus on their objectives without fear of betrayal.

Critical data gathered, Key gaps remain
Legion’s intel operations achieved a mixed outcome, with success in only half of their secondary objectives. 

Despite this, their efforts yielded significant intelligence that advanced the overall mission. Legion successfully gathered critical data on the location of key DPs, enemy bases, and areas of high activity. They identified vehicle usage patterns, typical convoy sizes, and key routes used by both military and civilian traffic. They also pinpointed ambush sites and natural chokepoints, while uncovering limited information about THE BEAR TRIBE’s resource convoys. 

Final assault
In the final battle, Legion and Task Force Black launched a coordinated assault on The Bear Tribe's FOB, both factions driven by the need to strike against TBT's resource convoys. 

The chaos of the attack unfolded rapidly as Legion and TFB aimed to seize the spoils while preventing TBT from securing the vital resources. Though the combined effort managed to halt all convoys and capture a small portion of resources, the assault fell short of taking full control of the FOB. 

The battle concluded with Legion and TFB retreating, having disrupted The Bear Tribe’s operations but unable to claim a decisive victory.

Outcome
The outcome for Legion was a testament to their resilience in the face of adversity. Despite being a new presence in the area, they adeptly navigated the complex battlefield, securing vital resources while preserving their operational integrity. 

Their focus on main and secondary missions allowed them to maintain a significant presence in the region, even as they faced heavy opposition. 

Ultimately, Legion had the upper hand, showcasing their ability to adapt and thrive amid the chaos. This secured their bridgehead in the area, making further operations possible.

It has been rumored that after the conclusion of this years operations due to Legions progress, and the lack of logistical support, a number of TFB members has joined Legions cause. But this might as well be missinformation or PSYOPS from an unknown source.

The Bear Tribe [TBT]

Operation: URSUS VANGUARD

The Bear Tribe successfully managed to establish a functioning local supply chain, transporting critical resources from their FOB to designated drop-off points despite significant enemy pressure. although they lost one convoy in the process. Their tactic to emphasize strength in a few key areas rather than taking on all tasks at once, allowed them to concentrate their efforts, but this came at the cost of not securing all key objectives. 

In the face of aggression from both Legion and Task Force Black, they effectively neutralized key threats, ensuring their freedom of movement throughout the operational zone. 

Although not all strategic positions were captured, the tribe secured several critical locations, reinforcing their control over essential areas and achieving a majority of their primary mission objectives.

Intelligence gathered revealed that both Task Force Black and LEGION were operating their HQs from outside the area, with only operational teams on the ground. 

Solid intel was sent to CENTCOM on a daily basis, proving that hard work in the field together with a working leadership proves to be a winning combination.

Although there was no civilian aggression, ongoing deceit and backstabbing in local dealings continued to frustrate Bear Tribe leadership, fueling a growing desire for vengeance among the soldiers and command.

The enemy of my enemy...
The local leadership of The Bear Tribe claim they chose to pledge allegiance to the cult, But most say they where lured by promises of power and dominance. In this secretive pact, they pledged their support to the cult's dark cause, forsaking their ties to humanity. 

This twisted alliance shifted The Bear Tribe’s course, driving them deeper into the cult’s sinister influence, trading morality for control and ensuring that their survival would come at a grim cost to the world they once knew. 

The wishing well
In the dead of night, The Bear Tribe seized a forgotten well from an abandoned village, unaware of the ancient claim that lingered. 

Days later, from the shadows of the surrounding hills, a horde of stout, bearded warriors emerged, silent and heavily armed. They struck with swift precision, reclaiming their lost treasure, vanishing into the wilderness as if they had never been. The well was returned, a warning to all who dared disturb what was theirs.

Held their ground, at a cost
In the final, brutal clash, The Bear Tribe held their ground at the FOB, fighting off the relentless assaults of both Task Force Black and LEGION. 

While they successfully defended their base and kept the majority of their resources within their control, the cost was steep. Under constant fire and sabotage, not a single convoy made it through the combined onslaught of their enemies. 

The Bear Tribe’s warriors stood defiant, maintaining control of the FOB but were unable to move any critical supplies to safety, leaving their broader supply lines shattered.

Outcome
The Bear Tribe emerged from the conflict with a mixed legacy, having successfully established a local supply chain and maintained freedom of movement. They captured and held several strategically important locations, maintaining their influence, but their unholy alliance with the cult compromised their standing among the local population and drew the ire of both Legion and Task Force Black. 

Furthermore, their failure to secure the anti-artillery radar left them vulnerable to further assaults from Task Force Black's mortars, highlighting a significant vulnerability in their strategy. 

This reliance on darker alliances, coupled with military setbacks, suggests a precarious future for the Bear Tribe, as they risk losing their hard-won gains amid escalating threats.

Task Force Black [UMF]

Operation SKY FIRE
Task Force Black showcased exceptional operational efficiency by accomplishing 80% of their main mission parameters. They strategically captured key targets, which facilitated some freedom of movement across the conflict zone. When securing objectives proved unfeasible, they turned to sabotage, dismantling the supply chains and inflicting disruptions.

Through decisive engagements, they eliminated multiple hostile forces, solidifying their dominance in the area. 

Their artillery units executed fire missions, targeting enemy resource convoys and critical targets with devastating effect. 

Moreover, Task Force Black raided enemy convoys, successfully extracting some essential resources together with Legion, thus establishing themselves as a potent force on the battlefield.

Further operation activities
Task Force Black excelled in achieving a number of critical secondary objectives while conducting thorough intelligence gathering throughout the operation. 

They successfully located and documented vital information on The Bear Tribe's resource convoys. Key personnel from Legion were identified and photographed, with this intelligence promptly sent to CENTCOM via secure messaging. 

Employing civilians and undercover agents effectively allowed TFB to maintain a low profile and avoid detection by the cult. Their intel reports provided comprehensive insights, detailing enemy activity locations, civilian habitation areas, and NO GO ZONES within the operational area. 

TFB meticulously mapped out roads primarily used by enemy factions and assessed their alliances, strengths, and operational tactics during skirmishes. 

Additionally, high-value targets, including key personnel and critical equipment, were identified, bolstering TFB's strategic positioning for future engagements.

Artillery missions
In a significant enhancement of their operational capabilities, Task Force Black successfully acquired mortar units during last year's operation, allowing them to shift the tide of engagements. 

After extensive scouting, they established several well-positioned firebases that offered strategic vantage points across the conflict zone. With a crew of expertly trained artillery operators, TFB demonstrated lethal precision, effectively deploying mortars to strike two enemy convoys and neutralize a high-value TBT surface-to-air missile site. 

This newfound firepower not only crippled the enemy's logistical movements but also significantly diminished their aerial defense, establishing Task Force Black as a formidable force capable of projecting deadly force from a safe distance.

Let it rain...
In the final battle, Task Force Black unleashed a devastating artillery barrage on both the Bear Tribe’s convoy and their fortified FOB. The mortar fire effectively crippled the supply lines, ensuring that not a single convoy could push through. 

Despite the precision strikes, TFB’s forces were unable to capitalize on their success, failing to secure any significant resources or penetrate the Bear Tribe’s defenses. While their artillery prevented the convoys from advancing, the stronghold at the FOB remained intact.

Outcome
Having fulfilled the majority of their main mission parameters and achieved crucial secondary objectives, Task Force Black emerged successful from the operation.

Their precision mortar strikes crippled key enemy assets, including The Bear Tribe's SAM site, while effectively disrupting some resource convoys. 

Their covert intelligence gathering gave them a detailed picture of enemy factions, their strengths, and alliances, putting TFB in a strong position for future operations. However, despite their successes, some key objectives remained out of reach, preventing a complete domination of the region.

Bandits!? Why there'd have to be bandits!?!
A rogue platoon of military bandits has emerged in the region, preying indiscriminately on both military and civilian targets. Their attacks are marked by a complete disregard for any moral or ethical standards, engaging in a spree of violence that has transformed the area into a circus of war crimes. These bandits operate with ruthless efficiency, looting convoys, torching villages, and leaving no survivors in their wake. Their presence has introduced a new layer of chaos to the already unstable situation, and their unpredictable movements have left both factions and civilians in a constant state of fear.


Voice of the Infected

The best kept secret is when everyone is dead
The horrifying truth has begun to surface: the infected are not mindless, but driven—guided—toward their victims with terrifying precision. But why? Who or what is manipulating them, bending these wretched creatures to a darker will? Could someone be orchestrating this nightmare for their own sinister agenda?

Every brave soul who dared to try uncover the truth has met a grim fate, found slaughtered or disappeared without a trace, as if swallowed by the void itself. The dread is palpable, and the air grows thick with tension. The stakes have never been higher, and as the noose tightens, one haunting question remains: is this the beginning of the end?

The Voice of the infected grows stronger with each passing day, not only amassing political influence but also drawing in devoted followers. Cloaked in black robes and masked in anonymity, their presence drifts through the village like a dark omen—silent, seemingly harmless... for now.

Their encampment inches closer, creeping toward the heart of the village, while eerie sermons and mesmerizing fire rituals lure the curious like moths to a flame. Whispers echo through the streets, as more and more begin to speak of them as saviors in these perilous times. Yet, beneath the surface, something darker festers, waiting for its moment to strike.

A box arrived at the doorstep of a powerful political party, its surface covered in biohazard symbols and dire warnings, sealing within it something unknown—something dangerous. No amount of influence or power could reveal what lay inside. The temptation proved too great, and through bribes, deceit, and carefully orchestrated schemes, they finally unlocked it. But to what cost?

A group of gravediggers has been spotted patrolling the zone, fiercely defending it with all their might. Like relentless predators, they hunted down anything—or anyone—that dared to trespass on their cursed grounds. Yet, despite the danger, a few lucky souls managed to slip past their watchful eyes, amassing fortunes in stolen loot from the forgotten dead.

But luck is a fickle thing. What some call fortune, others know as death’s shadow. After all, one man’s luck is another man’s burial.

The end of the juggernauts
The cultist Juggernaut was a relentless force , moving with terrifying precision through small arms fire and grenades. Clad in heavy armor, it shrugged off everything thrown its way, leaving destruction in its wake. 

It wasn't until the military coordinated a well-placed series of RPG hits that the Juggernaut was finally brought down. The repeated blasts tore through its armor, shattering its frame. When the smoke cleared, the massive figure lay in pieces, utterly destroyed and marking the end of its brutal advance.

Survivors in the settlement

The Embassy

The Embassy faced a difficult beginning this year, as Lord Charles had been missing since he was lost to a Horde that roamed the settlement last year. Fortunately, early this spring, the Embassy’s security team found him alive. He was saved by Bolaget’s experimental cure, but the effects linger—subtle paranoia and erratic behavior now cloud his leadership and decision-making.

Seeking to expand its influence, the Embassy has been trying to consolidate control over the Settlement, particularly to strengthen its tax base. Running such a large organization is costly, and to secure more funds, Lord Charles also sold property to Blackbeard for the expansion of his bar. Despite the deal, tensions between the Embassy and the Blackbeard camp remain unresolved.

In a show of prestige, the Embassy hosted a lavish gala, sparing no expense to bring a touch of luxury to the harsh world outside. High-profile guests from across the settlement attended, and for a brief moment, former enemies socialized under one roof. Many hoped that the event would help mend relationships, creating opportunities for cooperation that could benefit the entire settlement of Föne.

However, it did not go unnoticed that senior members of the Embassy's administration were seen fraternizing with representatives of The Voice of the Infected, the mysterious cult in the settlement. Rumors suggest that Lord Charles, changed by his time as an infected, might be seeking to establish a relationship with this once bitter enemy. What this means for the future remains unclear, but speculation runs rampant.

Meanwhile, skirmishes between dissidents and the Embassy’s security forces have become routine, and diplomatic tensions with NSF (Nya Svenska Förvaltningen) are simmering, though no direct confrontation has occurred yet. With Lord Charles back, but clearly altered by his ordeal, the future of the Embassy hangs in the balance, as dark forces appear to be working behind the scenes.

In the village, whispers have intensified, rumors circulating about traitors hidden within the Embassy. These figures, it is said, are not just opportunists but agents secretly working for a powerful, unknown entity. As suspicion spreads, the Ambassador and the Embassy's security team face mounting pressure to uncover the truth and root out the infiltrators before it’s too late.

The Embassy recently uncovered an old missile from a fighter plane and its launch codes in one of the derelict hangars on the outskirts of the Föne settlement. However, its exact capabilities, potential range, and true power remain unknown to all, including the Embassy’s own experts. The find has stirred excitement and trepidation within their ranks, as this weapon could represent a valuable asset—or a devastating risk—should its use be mishandled.

In parallel, Mr. Dundee has raised eyebrows across the settlement with his frequent, seemingly secretive conversations with a man bearing the emblem of the Holy see. This association has grown notably intense the spring of 2024, and while it might signify little, it has raised questions—especially given that the Vatican flag has been spotted flying alongside the British colors over the Embassy on multiple occasions. The connection between Dundee and the Vatican figure remains shrouded in mystery, leaving the settlement’s residents speculating about what influence, if any, the Vatican might be exerting over the Embassy's decisions.

ER

Despite their reduced numbers, the Emergency Response team (ER) proved instrumental in maintaining some semblance of stability in the settlement. With only three members in the team, their operations were focused and precise. 


One of their major achievements was successfully vaccinating the majority of the settlement’s population against the slow virus, a variant that had been plaguing the area. This victory helped restore hope to the villagers, as it significantly reduced the threat posed by the infected, giving the survivors a fighting chance.

One particularly noteworthy moment came when the ER managed to locate a series of mysterious cards. These were later identified as critical to a joint operation between ER and the Embassy, used to open a locked case whose contents remain classified but could hold critical importance for the ongoing battle against the PR32 infection. Another crucial tasks was to recover a stolen blood sample from Lord Charles, because for the Lord's remarkable resistance to the PR32 virus. The Cult had managed to seize this valuable sample, intending to use it for their own dark purposes. Luckily the ER and the Embassy manage to get it back and probably preventet something more dark and sinister in the future. But the need for ER to recruit more personel in the future is vital for the Settlements survival.

In addition to the vaccinations, the ER took it upon themselves to locate and clean up the bloody handprints, remnants of attacks, or infected incidents. Wherever they found them—or were informed of their presence—these macabre signs of violence were washed away, serving as a small but meaningful way of combating the infection's psychological toll on the settlement and the spread of the infection. 

The Radio / Chiemsee Industries

As always. reliable communication is more critical than ever, and the radio, maintained and operated by Chiemsee Industries, is vital for information transfer across the entire area. Whether it is broadcasting crucial updates, mission reports, or warnings about the infected, the radio has become the Settlement's lifeline. Without it, the survivors would be isolated, left to fend for themselves without any knowledge of what dangers lie ahead or where to find essential resources.

Chiemsee Industries has grown into one of the most influential groups within the region. Despite their power, they walk a fine line, diligently maintaining neutrality amidst the chaotic struggles between various factions, gangs, and other groups vying for control. This neutrality allows them to continue their operations without becoming entangled in the endless conflicts that threaten to engulf the area. Yet, while they avoid direct involvement in these skirmishes, their influence is felt everywhere.

The Settlement regularly relies on Chiemsee Industries for assistance with vital missions, as they did the spring of 2024. Their neutrality and expertise make them an ideal partner for coordinating operations, whether it’s gathering intelligence, escorting supply runs, or transmitting distress signals. The organization has played a key role in ensuring that vital missions are executed efficiently and effectively, often stepping in to offer their services when no one else can.

In addition to managing communications, Chiemsee Industries is a key supplier of specific, much-needed resources. From technical components to survival gear, people throughout the Settlement and beyond know to turn to Chiemsee for certain hard-to-find supplies. Their ability to procure and distribute these resources, especially during times of scarcity, makes them indispensable to the community.

Blackbeard

Since Blackbeard Jr. died last year, there was some uncertainty about what would happen next with the Bar and its leadership. During the spring of 2024, a new figure took charge of the Bar and Blackbeard's old group, and that person was King Manne.

King Manne and his men approached every task with their usual vigor. They traded with the local villagers, but the significant event was the purchase of a house from Lord Charles and the Embassy to expand the Bar. The deal almost fell through, but a last-minute agreement was struck between King Manne and Mr. Dundee.

The group also obtained Blackbeard Jr.'s testament and held an auction to sell Blackbeard's lucky underwear. Intense bidding ensued, but when the local villagers pooled their resources, they won the auction against the Embassy. They requested that the underwear be displayed in the Bar.

Additionally, they announced on the radio, as part of the testament, a tribute to Blackbeard, and that King Manne would inherit the name King Blackbeard, with plans to build a new Kingdom.

Bolaget

In 2024, Bolaget continued its operations at Föne Airbase, Sweden, focusing on three key projects despite an unexpected allocation of resources to a new, unforeseen task. 

Operation Cure
This mission aimed to produce a cure for the infection plaguing Föne, with remarkable success. Despite the limited resources provided by Bolaget CO, the operation went good and by leveraging local citizens’ involvement, Bolaget distributed the cure in the quanteties it had access to and gained favor among the Settlement's population. This outcome is expected to weaken the influence of rival factions such as the British Embassy and Blackbeard.

Operation Propaganda
Thousands of flyers promoting Bolaget’s services were distributed across Föne and surrounding areas. Additionally, musicians previously abducted by Bolaget proved invaluable in composing songs that aired on local radio, further solidifying Bolaget’s presence. 

Positive feedback from the community, including citizens singing along to the broadcasts, suggests that Bolaget’s influence has grown significantly. Future plans include expanding into new musical genres like Country, Bluegrass, and Death Metal to continue swaying public opinion.

Operation Translations and Research
Reports of an unconfirmed threat in Föne led Bolaget to investigate several laboratories in the area, all of them in various stages of decay and destruction. Through these efforts, operatives uncovered documents about a mysterious experiment gone wrong, creating a monstrous entity known as the Juggernaut. Furthermore, strange symbols discovered during the searches were later linked to a local cult. Using the Cult's "Book of the Damned", which they stole at a event hosted by Voice of the Infected, operatives deciphered some of these symbols due to successfully collecting valuable intel earlier in the spring. Although the meaning of the translation is unclear, Bolaget continues the investigation with high hopes of gaining more knowledge.

The Cafe, Två bullar i ugnen

Café Två bullar i ugnen has become a beloved spot within the Settlement, offering a rare sense of warmth and normalcy amidst the harsh realities of the post-apocalyptic world. The café, run by its friendly and welcoming owners, has earned a reputation not just for its good coffee and homemade pastries, but as a place where adventurers and survivors alike come to rest, exchange stories, and take on new missions.

The café has evolved into more than just a cozy gathering spot. It has turned into a bustling hub where adventurers meet, plan their next expeditions, and sometimes even lend a hand to the café itself, helping to gather resources needed to keep it operational. With its central role in the community, Café Två bullar i ugnen is now one of the key locations for those looking for work or alliances in the Settlement.

The Vipers have returned

There’s also a growing curiosity around the café's ties to the notorious group, The Vipers, who are frequently seen stopping by. Their visits have led to widespread speculation that the café might have gained a very powerful mecénat backing its operations. While the café’s owners maintain their friendly demeanor towards everyone, many in the Settlement suspect that there's more going on behind the scenes, adding a layer of intrigue to the café's already prominent reputation. And at this time no one of their right mind would dare to do something stupid at the Café, even though it might be just as simple as that the Vipers really like the staff, coffee and pastries.

Legend of the Hillbillys

The Hillbillies, a group both infamous and oddly beloved for their wild antics and chaotic mischief. Known for roaring through the settlement with crooked grins, a twanging banjo, and the lingering scent of their potent moonshine, they left an impression on everyone they met. Their reckless spirit was infectious, but as with all who push the boundaries too far, sooner or later, something pushes back.

In the end, the Voice of the Infected (VOI) claimed them as sacrificial pawns. They faced a relentless horde of infected, torn apart as they tried to make one last stand. A single, defiant “YEPPYEEP!” echoed through the village, fading into a haunting silence that marked the end of their misadventures. The Hillbillies were gone, leaving only memories and the bitter taste of moonshine behind.

Nya Svenska Förvaltningen

The NSF (Nya Svenska Förvaltningen) were new to the region, but their impact was immediate. Led by Harald Kypare, they arrived with a clear mission: to establish a new Swedish authority amidst the chaos. Unlike the other groups vying for survival, the NSF sought to restore order and governance where it had fallen apart and act as a counterpart to the British Embassy.

Their first task was to gather essential supplies for the civilian settlement at Föne. Through well-organized expeditions, they stockpiled food, water, and medicine, distributing these to prevent the settlement from spiraling into anarchy. Alongside their supply efforts, they set up a small research and medical station, dedicated to treating the sick and studying the virus that plagued the area.

Harald Kypare and the NSF made it clear that they were not warlords or scavengers. They were here to prevent chaos, to rebuild some semblance of the world that had been lost.

Other significant events

The Orthodox Church, once known for its strict adherence to faith and a readiness to wield violence, has undergone a dark transformation. Over time, they abandoned their rigid doctrine, seduced by the whispers of the Voice of the Infected. Slowly, their practices shifted from holy rituals to something far more sinister. In a final act of devotion, they sacrificed their own High Priest, marking their full submission to the Infected. What was once a proud and devout order has now become acolytes of one of the very thing they once sought to destroy, embracing the Infection with open arms.

Late during the spring, there was a growing unease in the Settlement. Whispers spread of agents from Fria Republiken Jämtland being seen more frequently, moving through the area with quiet purpose. While not many know for certain what they're up to, their increased presence hasn’t gone unnoticed. It's hard not to wonder what their plans might be—or if their agenda will shift the balance in the Settlement. People are starting to worry, sensing that something more could be at play, though for now, it’s all just suspicion and speculation. Only time will tell what their presence truly means.

The battle between the allegiances of "Order" and "Chaos" was fierce, with Order putting up the hardest fight to secure their control over the region. Through strategy, discipline, and sheer determination, they managed to create the most favorable outcome for their side. However, the whispers around the Settlement tell a different story. Many believe that the balance of power would have tipped dramatically if not for the overwhelming influence of the Embassy. With their vast resources and a strong military presence, the Embassy played a pivotal role in shaping the outcome, leaving some to wonder what might have been without their intervention.

In 2024, the safe house was left unused, as the Embassy hoarded all available fuel, but ultimately did not utilize it. Due to this neglect, the structure was dismantled in the summer of 2024, with its materials either repurposed for other projects or handed over to Chiemsee Industries for future use, ensuring no valuable assets went to waste.

This mysterious faction is on a relentless quest to find evidence of extraterrestrial life, scouring the area for any signs of contact. Questions arise about how these seemingly fragile individuals manage are still avlive in the harsh post-apocalyptic world, yet they persist, driven by their obsession with the unknown.

The Settlement got the news that a huge horde of infected pushed closer to the Settlement, a small group of engineers, driven by desperation, found their last hope in an old stockpile of explosives. These brave souls knew that the only way to save their fellow survivors was to make a stand. With limited time, they rigged the explosives to the only bridge that provided a direct route to the Settlement. As the infected closed in, the engineers held their breath. A deafening explosion echoed through the valley, sending debris into the rushing river below. The bridge collapsed, cutting off the horde and securing a brief moment of safety for the Settlement.

After receiving a tip from an old soldier, the civilians in the Settlement learned about a forgotten military missile launcher hidden deep in the forest. With hopes to dimish the ranks of the growing horde of infected gathering across the river, a group of brave volunteers ventured out to find the launcher. After hours of navigating the dense woods, they located the rusted relic, overgrown and abandoned.

Against all odds, the civilians managed to haul the heavy equipment back to the Settlement, using makeshift tools, their old vehicles and sheer determination. Once back, mechanics and engineers worked tirelessly to restore the launcher to working condition. As the infected massed on the far side of the river, they made their final preparations.

With a sense of grim hope, the civilians aimed and fired. The missiles roared into the night sky, crashing into the horde with deafening explosions. The blast waves tore through the infected ranks, reducing their numbers and buying the Settlement more time. The civilians, united by their courage, had turned the tide in their fight for survival.
